In 2023, I hosted my first Book Swap party at a pink bar in Lisbon, and I've been hosting them ever since! I wanted to create an opportunity for readers to discuss and swap books in a cool environment, meet new friends, and feel like they're a part of their local community of book lovers.

As the host, my number one goal is to make sure everyone feels welcome and has a good time. I've been to events on my own, and it can be terrifying. If you're a fellow introvert considering coming alone for the first time, I can guarantee you'll have a friendly face waiting to greet you at the door.
